Bridge demolition – St-Louis-de-Blandford
Project Description
Le Groupe St-Pierre demolished the bridge over Route 162, spanning the Rivière Bécancour, which was approximately 145 meters long and 13 meters high (from the depth of the river to the top of the deck). A temporary bridge was installed beneath the deck to protect the river, recover demolition materials and enable the use of hydraulic shovels.
